Things possible over the age of 65

I am making my life into an extended Artist Way “Date”

see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Artist%27s_Way—

(There’s WAY TOO MANY CHOICES if you search by author Julia Cameron’s name)

My extended date began with doing a good deed, on Tuesday. The sweet little single serving power blender that I inherited from Sr. Sankofa was leaking liquid through the electrical base 😱, so I took it to the thrift/small appliance store in Barre (https://resourcevt.org/)

for appropriate disposal. I had really liked that blender, so I also looked online and saw a used one available on eBay for a reasonable price and I bid on it.

Bidding on an item online is totally out of my comfort zone; it rates about an eight on a scale of one “I’m totally comfortable” to 10 “ I am mortified and I want to die.”

The ReSource staff looked at the mixer, and told me that they thought they could salvage it!

So, Wednesday, I brought the rest of the pieces from the kit to the Re-Source to pass this mighty mini mixer on to another lucky human.

While I was in Barre, I decided to stop by Amy's armoire for a few T-shirts to go with my bib overalls, AND the rest is "her story" 🤗

PS--the new used blender arrived today with so much plastic packaging. I can't believe it was ever used for anything by anyone else...

PPS--the new used blender has 18 pieces, including a replacement gasket.

I was a real live e-consumer action! YAY ME!!!😉
